Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Redvisor ("Redvisor", "we", "us", or "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in Hong Kong (Business Registration No. 41473628-000), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit redvisor.hk or use any of the products and services we operate, including KitchenDesk, GTM Scout, and any future products (collectively, the "Services").
We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (the "PDPO"). If you are located in another jurisdiction, additional rights may apply to you, and we will honour those where required by law.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account information — name, email address, and any details you provide when you create an account or contact us.
- Payment information — when you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card details. Stripe provides us with limited information such as a payment confirmation, the last four digits of your card, and billing country. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle your data.
- Usage data — information about how you interact with the Services, such as log data, device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, and feature usage.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies section below.
- Communications — records of correspondence when you contact us for support or other enquiries.
2. How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
- process subscriptions, payments, and renewals;
- respond to enquiries and provide customer support;
- send service-related communications (e.g. billing notices, security alerts, changes to terms);
- improve and develop our Services;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
- comply with legal obligations.
We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which it was collected, or for a directly related purpose, unless we obtain your consent or are otherwise permitted by law.
3. Direct marketing
We will only use your personal data for direct marketing (for example, product updates or promotional offers) with your consent where required. You may withdraw your consent and opt out of marketing communications at any time, at no cost, by contacting us at [email protected] or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Services — for example, Stripe (payments) and Netlify (hosting). These providers are only permitted to use your data to perform services on our behalf.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal data.
5. International data transfers
The Services and our providers (such as Stripe and our hosting provider) may store and process data outside Hong Kong. Where personal data is transferred outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is afforded a level of protection comparable to that under the PDPO.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. When data is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.
7. Data security
We take practical steps to safeguard personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Under the PDPO, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate personal data;
- ascertain our policies and practices in relation to personal data.
To exercise these rights, or if you have a complaint, please contact us at [email protected]. We may charge a reasonable fee for complying with a data access request, as permitted under the PDPO. If you are located outside Hong Kong, you may have additional rights (such as deletion or portability), and we will respond to such requests where required by applicable law.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. Third-party links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
